Thank you so much, LAL @ Wandering Lynn for nominating me!! I am so touched that you enjoy reading my blog! So, thank you!! *Lots of heart emojis here*

Three things about me:

1. I’m a huge crafter! I make all kinds of crafts and mostly for gifts. I make paper crafts, cards, scrapbook, decorate my planner, shadowboxes, wreaths and pretty much anything I want. I love Pinterest for the many ideas of inspiration. I can pretty much make anything I put my mind to and I love it. I always make baby signs for all my friends and family when a new one comes into the world. I usually make it match the nursery decor. I also refurbish furniture too. I love to do small end tables and paint them awesome colors. I have two purple ones right now with a white lace painted on top. I get lots of comments on those!

2. I LOVE plants. I have over 50 houseplants and love gardening outdoors. I try to squish as many beautiful flowers I can outside. I just recently required one of most searched for plants, a Fiddle Leaf Fig tree. It’s so pretty and I hope I don’t kill it. haha. Plants just make me so happy. One of my friends tagged me in an awesome post on instagram today… I’ll post it.. because it’s just so me.

This is so me. I also have several of those plants. hahaha.

3. I’ll get a little personal. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 5 years now. I was having so many issues and my OBGYN kept telling it was stress. Well after 4 1/2 years, we sought help from an Infertility doctor. Within 5 minutes he told me there was an issue. My OBGYN kept doing ultrasounds (I had to pay for $$) and he had the most recent one. Sure enough, on the ultrasound they found something in my uterus. My OBGYN ignored it. I had even quit my job, at this point! I had to then fight my insurance company for 3 months to get the surgery needed, covered. FINALLY, they decided to cover that and only that. Since he’s a fertility doctor (the best in the city), they didn’t want to cover it. They give me 0 fertility coverage. So, on April 5th, I had my surgery!!! Now, I’m just playing a waiting game to start our fertility drugs. I just wanted to talk about it, since it’s a big part of my life and very stressful right now. Anyways, we are very hopeful that we will finally be able to get pregnant and start our family. It’s been a long, tough road and we are so ready. Sorry, I got way personal. haha.

Questions I have to answer:

1. Which country would you like to visit the most?

– Ireland 100%!! I have a lot of family from there and I’ve always wanted to go. It’s on my bucket list and I’m hoping that we can go in the next few years.

2. If you could do any other job/career for a day, what would it be?

I’m currently a housewife. I quit my job at the library in December, for health reasons mentioned above. I loved that job! I think for a day, I would love to be a detective. I’ve always thought about being a PI but I’m not sure that I would like it. I also would love to be a psychologist for a day too, since that what my bachelor’s degree is in!

3. What’s your favorite book genre?

It’s most definitely Fantasy! Mostly, YA but I’ll read a lot of adult fantasy too.

4. What inspired you to begin blogging?

Honestly, I love getting e-ARC’s and always post my reviews. I figured, why not blog?? Then, in February, I really started blogging and I love it SO much. I started getting more involved and I love meeting all these amazing people in the book blogging community. It’s so fun to discuss books every week!

5. How many pieces of mail did you receive today?

I haven’t gotten the mail yet! I’ts always here so late. I got 7 pieces yesterday, so we will go with that!

My Best Posts:

A lot of them are my Top 10 Tuesday’s….

TTT: Books Taking Place in Another Country

  1. Thanks again L… I still have many awards to do but this the first time Im nominated for this award so I’m very thankful. And honored. 🙂 🙂 I’m sure i’m gonna enjoy answering your questions.

And I see you love adult fantasy…. any recommendations.. I love YA fantasy but sometimes they became so tropey…

Same here, Pinterest is my favorite online site. Seriously. Even more than Goodreads… hehe…And it’s because of crafting too. I love crafting so much it helps me with my fight with depression.

And to the more serious side.. I hope all the best for you and for your family. 🙂 🙂 I know it’s hard to talk about it and thank you for sharing it to us… You’ll be in my prayers. 🙂 🙂

    • You are welcome! Yay, I’m glad! I’m always worried I’m tagging the same people but I’m glad this one is your first!

Okay… some recs for adult fantasy… Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin, which can be brutal because they are huge and very insane but so worth it. The last two books, I have given up that he will ever write them but I’ll just be okay with the show ending. Haha. I love Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, but I’m only in the 3rd book. Those are also a big time commitment because they can be 900 to over 1000 pages! So good though. I also liked Lord of the Rings by Tolkien. Those are what I can think of at the top of my head. I’m about to start, A Darker Shade of Magic by Schwab bc everyone raves about it. I’ll let you know.

Yes!!! Crafting is so relaxing! Right now, I’m loving anything with Watercoloring! So beautiful and so relaxing. Helps with stress and so glad it helps with depression! Creating is just good all around! 😊

Thank you, it’s been a rough road but I’m very hopeful! I appreciate your prayers, they are something I can always use!! 🤗😊

I look forward to seeing your answers! Take your time though! ❤️

      • 🙂 🙂 I’ve been planning to read Outlander but still can’t get to it. With game of thrones, I”m a fan of the show so I’m thinking maybe i’ll wait for the show to be finished first. 🙂 🙂 Oh and ADSoM… you’re right everyone loves it. im gonna wait for your thoughts about it…

I’m not good with watercolors… But i do try adult coloring books… They’re very relaxing yes… It’s funny because when I was a kid I hadn’t even own a coloring book. Hahaha..

        Good luck with your family… 🙂 🙂

        • Yeah, I would finish the show then start GoT! Outlander is such a time commitment. I’m about 40% through Voyager but haven’t picked it back up since November! Lol. I’ll get to it soon, hopefully!

Haha! That is funny!! I also love the adult coloring books! So fun and very relaxing! 😁

          • Sorry for the late response. 🙂

Lol, since November? maybe that’s why I don’t read it yet.. they’re just so thick and I can’t commit right now.

Yeah, they’re relaxing and somehow fulfilling.. Whenever I finish a page, and see that i’ve colored even the most intricate, small parts perfectly it makes me happy. haha..

  2. Thank you for sharing so much! Have you tried Cigna? I know their advantage plan covers up to a certain amount regarding infertility! I wish you all the luck with this and I hope life grants you your wish ❤️

    • Thank you! ❤️ we haven’t looked into them yet because a couple of my friends have not had great experiences with Cigna. Thank you though! Thankfully, we saved some money for this. So, I’m sure we will look at this options when we are out of $$. 🙂

  3. Thank you for being so candid about your struggles with infertility. My husband and I found out last year that we cannot have children, so we are in the adoption process now. I wish you the absolute best of luck in your journey toward starting your family, whatever form that may take ☺️❤️

    • I am so sorry. 😔 Yes, I’m trying to be more open now. For years, I kept it a secret and most people still don’t know. I guess, this is the first step.. being vocal with strangers. lol. That is amazing!!! I wish you all the luck. I know it can be a long process but you are doing an amazing thing. 🤗 It’s something we talk about too. However, it ends up happening for me, I hope we both get there soon! ❤️❤️

      • It can definitely be hard to talk about, especially with the people who know and love you, who just want you to be happy. I’m so glad that you seem to have found a doctor who is willing to dig deeper and find the root behind the problem. 🙂

        • It really can! I’ve found a person, who has reached out, from high school. She is having the same issues. It’s amazing to have that support with people who understand how hard it can be. Yes, he’s so amazing! He’s one of the best in the city and people drive like 6 hours to see him! I’m very blessed to have him figuring this out! 😊

  4. Thank you so much for nominating me, I appreciate it so much!

Thank you so much for opening up, I have known so many friends and even family members who have gone through struggles with infertility and it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It’s sad more people aren’t more open about it especially since it’s more common than people realize. I really wish you and your husband the best. Being a new mom, it’s the best and the hardest time of my life, and I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.

I wish I had more of a green thumb, I’m a flower admirer but ultimately dies a slow death in my house, womp womp.

I participated in the award, and here’s my link!🙂

    • You are welcome!! I can’t wait to check out your post. Thank you, for doing it and stopping by to link it!

Awww, yes! I completely agree that it should be talked about more. It’s really more common than people think and it’s not something that we should be ashamed of!

Haha, I’m sorry that you don’t have a green thumb but at least, you still admire them 🙂

Thank you so much for nominating me!! I really appreciate it 😀 I am sorry it took me so long to respond!!

I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life. The longest I had a plant was a cactus that I managed to keep alive for like 2 years. Other than that its usually a couple months 🙃🙃 Also I want to go to Ireland too!!

Good luck on getting pregnant! Sorry it took them so long to figure out the problem, but glad they got it fixed!! Drs can be so frustrating! And sorry you quit your job at the library because of their false information! I hope it all works out with a little baby in the end!

Haha. Some people have the green thumb and some don’t. There’s nothing wrong with that. Yes, I hope to go to Ireland at some point, hopefully!

Thank you! I appreciate that. I am really hopeful that it will work out 🙂
