Romance Readers Book Tag!

Book

I was tagged by the lovely, Karen Jo @ Sincerely Karenjo. Thank you! I’m not a huge romance reader anymore but I used to be. Every now and then, I get in the mood for some romance, so I still pick them up from time to time.

So here we go..

WHAT AGE DID YOU START TO READ ROMANCE NOVELS?

I read a lot when I was a freshman in High School. I read a lot of romance and loved them. Then I found YA in college and my interest shifted.

IF YOU COULD PICK ONE HERO TO MEET FROM YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVELS, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Okay, I’m going to have to use Karen Jo’s answer and say Noah from The Notebook. He waits for her and then he still waits for her in sickness. He’s just amazing. ❤

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE AUTHORS AND WHY?

Colleen Hoover is one that I’ve been reading since her Slammed series. By the way, the Slammed series is one of my favorite romance series of all time.

WHAT IS A FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVEL TO RE-READ?

I don’t really re-read books. So, I haven’t done any but I’m really thinking of re-reading the slammed series. I need to get my hands on two of the books before I can do that. Oh wait, never mind… I own them through the nook app! No excuses now.

WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO A NON-ROMANCE READER?

The Slammed Series by Colleen Hoover for sure! I also really enjoyed The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.

WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE: CONTEMPORARY, SUSPENSE, HISTORICAL AND WHY?

I think Contemporary but Historical would be a close second.

I’ve done so many tags lately that I’m not going to be tagging anyone. Although, I know that Sara is a romance reader, so you should totally do this! 😉

Happy Reading~

  2. I don’t read Romance, in fact, I’m allergic to it. Heh heh. I usually tell people that I have never read it, but every once in a while I own up to reading this Drugstore Romance series about stewardesses (that’s how long ago it was they were not called flight attendants) the one time I was on a band tour. They were cheap and I could pick up a new one at just about any truckstop. They had great descriptions of the cities they flew to. Ha! The guys in the band tore the mickey out of me though because I am not very girly. 😂

    • Haha!! I know, I’m not the biggest romance fan but I think Contemporaries are a good compromise. I have found myself reading more of those. Haha! Funny that you tell people that. Do you still have those books? You should keep them as your one time dipping into your allergies! haha :):)
