Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top TEN Authors that I Love!

First, I want to say that I’m currently trying to catch up! I had a pretty intense week last week and I was away from my blog. I had posts that were scheduled and I believe I’m  caught up on replying back to all the comments. I am now trying to catch up on everyone else’s posts. ❤

This was supposed to be books that I still haven’t read by authors that I love. Well, I don’t even have enough for 5. If I love an author, I read any and all by them! So, I’m going with 10 authors that I love!

1. Fredrik Backman

I randomly found his book, A Man Called Ove on Netgalley one day. It sounded interesting and it was a “Read Now.” What?! Yeah, guys. Backman used to be a “Read Now” author on Netgalley. haha.

My favorite book: I actually have two for this one. AMCO beats out Beartown but only by a little bit!

A Man Called OveBeartown (Beartown, #1)

2. Sarah J. Maas

I’m definitely a bigger fan of the Throne of Glass series. I don’t know which is my favorite, it’s been a while since I’ve read most of them. I think either Crown of Midnight or Heir of Fire are my favorite out of the series.

Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2)Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3)

3. Cassandra Clare

I know a lot of people either hate or love the TMI. I love it. It really opened me up to YA fantasy and I just love the whole Angel vs. Demon aspect. Plus, Magnus Bane <3.

My favorite book: Oh gosh… I’m going with Lady Midnight! This book was fantastic!

Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1)

4. Marissa Meyer

If you haven’t read The Lunar Chronicles, you are missing out! My favorite book would be..

Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3)

I have not read Renegades yet. This would have been one of the few for the original post topic.

5. Holly Black

I still have to read a few of her books but oh well. My favorite book by her so far is…

The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air, #2)

I know, I’m cheating.. it hasn’t come out yet but I loved this one so much. I had to choose it.

6. Kristin Hannah

I haven’t read all of her books but I’ve read a good amount. I have loved so many of them but she’s got a lot. I haven’t loved them all. I will still read anything she releases.

My favorite: I’m choosing two here because they are both exceptional.

Winter GardenThe Nightingale

7. Liane Moriarty

I will read anything she puts out. I was disappointed with her last book. It’s okay though because they can’t all be winners.

My favorite book:The Husband's Secret

8. J.K. Rowling

I’m literally just adding her for the Harry Potter series. I’m not picking a favorite either. Okay, I guess I’ll pick one of my favorites. 🙂

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

9. Colleen Hoover

I love, love the Slammed series. I know that I’ve talked about it a lot lately. I also really enjoy so many of her other books. I’ve read all but 2, I believe. I met her last month and she’s pretty cool!

My favorite book: I’m putting the whole series here.

SlammedPoint of RetreatThis Girl

10. Jay Kristoff

I’ve read the Illuminae Files that he did with Kaufman. I also read The Nevernight Chronicles and LifeL1K3. It’s official that I love him!

My favorite book:Godsgrave (The Nevernight Chronicle, #2)

Honorable Mention: Victoria Schwab

I’ve read 4 of her books over the last two months and I loved them. She is definitely going to be added to the auto-buy!

My favorite book:

Vicious (Villains, #1)

Alright… So, there’s 10 of my favorite authors, in no particular order. Also, I know there are more but my brain is pretty fried today. Do you love any of these authors?! I would love to know your thoughts!

    • I tend to get obsessed and want to read everything by them. There’s a couple on the list that I haven’t read all of their books but only a couple. It was not enough to make a whole list from!

    • Haha- Yeah, you totally need to get on that one! Beartown is really good. I wasn’t sure how I would like a book about hockey but it’s about so much more! 🙂 Ohhhh, yeah I felt the same. I read it though and it’s hyped for a great reason. Nevernight and Godsgrave are so good!

  2. I love Marissa Meyer but I have only read her Lunar Chronicles.I also love Cassandra Clare but I don’t plan to read the series about Emma and Julian. I don’t really know about Holly Black though because I have only read one of her books. I loved Sarah J Maas’ books last year but now not so much. I’m not that exited over Kindom of Ash anymore and Nesta ruined ACOTAR for me so I’m not going to continue ACOTAR.
