Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top TEN Winter 2019 TBR.

I actually haven’t really thought about it but I guess it’s a good day to make a plan. I think that I really want to attack some books that have been on my TBR for way too long.

The Bear and the Nightingale (Winternight Trilogy, #1)Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor, #1)Red Rising (Red Rising #1)The Pillars of the Earth (Kingsbridge, #1)Stalking Jack the Ripper (Stalking Jack the Ripper, #1)

Legend (Legend, #1)The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, #1)Nightshade (Nightshade, #1; Nightshade World, #4)First & ThenLove & Gelato

These are my temporary plan to read this winter. I hope I can get to them all. I will have to mix in new books too. I’m tired of my actual bookshelf overflowing with books I haven’t read yet!! Good goal for 2019 is to read more of them!!

Have you read any of these? Any of these been sitting on your TBR for far too long?

  1. Lovely list! I’m so happy you’re planning to read The Bear and the Nightingale, it’s such a atmospheric wintery read and I love it so much. I look forward to hearing what you think of it! Nevermoor and Red Rising are also amazing reads. I have The Pillars of the Earth on my list as well! I’ve been wanting to read something Medieval for a while, I hope it’s as good as everyone says. Happy reading! 😊

    • Thank you! I’m really excited about a lot of these reads and I’ve just had them sitting on my shelf. What is wrong with me!! haha. Oh, me too!! I actually read book two first, years ago. World Without End and I LOVED it. It was a 5 star read for me. My FIL actually recommended it and so I read it. I am so glad. I’ve been wanting to get to Pillars forever but haven’t.

  2. I adore The Bear and the Nightingale. Such a wonderful winter ❄️ read. If you read it, I recommend reading the glossary at the back first – it familiarises its reader with Russian names and gives a bit of a useful background. Those names could be quite confusing at first otherwise. Crossing all my fingers for you that you enjoy it.
Red Rising has been sitting on my shelf for a while as well, I need to read it ASAP! Happy reading. 📚❤️
