Helloooo
So, as most of you know… I’m currently taking time off to adjust to a newborn.
Taking care of a newborn is rough!! Although, we are staring to find a routine(ish) after almost two months. Now, when he’s sleeping, I think I would like to start reading again!
If you could all give me some recommendations for what you have been loving or what you are excited for!!! I’ve been out of the book world since January 11th, when all the craziness happened with my pregnancy.
I want to slowly start getting back into my routine pre-baby! I appreciate all your recommendations and I’ve missed you all! I hope you are all doing well! ❤️❤️
Welcome back and I will check and DM you my favorite reads of this year ❤

I’m happy to hear you’re back. Having a newborn is a huge adjustment. The books I’ve loved so far this year were The Poet X, Dear Martin, A Man Called Ove, and Piecing Me Together.

A Man Called Ove (loved it since day one and always my go to for recs) and Dear Martin.

Those are both great books 😄I was worried I wouldn’t like A Man Called Ove because of the mixed reviews I’d read, but I loved it

So glad you gave it a shot!! Beartown is also really good by him!! Don’t let the hockey thing impact you. It’s about sooo much more!!

Congratulations on your new baby!
If you like nonfiction, you might enjoy 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don’t Do by Amy Morin. I sure find it interesting.

Since my list of favorite books is pretty much a mile long, I’ll recommend my favorite authors instead. They all have multiple books out (all are pretty good in my opinion) and include Madeline Miller, Rick Riordan, JK Rowling, and Marissa Meyer.

Have you read The Princess and The Fangirl? It was pretty awesome 😀 Also the final books are coming out later this year for both the Nevernight and Cruel Prince series, so you could get caught up on those if you aren’t already?
