Heartstopper vol. 1-3 mini reviews!

Heartstopper: Volume One (Heartstopper, #1)

I started reading this online, since it was free & my library is closed. I flew through this! Such a great graphic novel! Her art work is good but I felt like some of the art work was really plane, if that makes sense. I think I would have liked it better if there were some color! Online, there’s a few mini stories and some are in color and they were so great! The story is really fast because there’s really not a lot going on. It’s such a fast read, so something that if you are on the fence about, just do it! It’s really sweet.

Heartstopper: Volume Two (Heartstopper, #2)

I liked this one more because we get more about Nick. He’s struggling to figure out what he’s feeling. This is another really fast paced read because there’s not a ton of dialogue. We get a lot of pages of just them “swooning” at each other. I think the ending is what I loved most about it, with his mom! ❀ I’m also wishing for color! haha.

Heartstopper: Volume Three (Heartstopper, #3)

This one was my least favorite. They are in Paris for a school trip, which got a bit weird. I don’t think that everyone needs to couple up, even the teachers, just saying. Also, MAJOR TRIGGERS in this one! There’s definitely two big ones and one of them was completely skipped over. I feel like if you are going to go there, you need to really spend some time on it! It was still cute at times and definitely a fast read! It was just a bit darker.

Overall, I really like these and think they are cute graphic novels! If you want something that is light and fast, this is a good option. Maybe not the third volume though.
