Name a book that makes you cry

Winter Garden

I read this book so long ago. I remember it was amazing and it’s one of my favorites. It definitely made me cry! It’s really such an emotional and touching story. Kristin Hannah is really good at that.

Name a book that makes you smile.

The Unhoneymooners

This was a recent read but I loved it so much. It made me laugh and it was so sweet. Definitely one that will put a smile on your face! Highly recommend!

Name a book that makes you feel passionate.

The Bitter Side of Sweet

I had to read this for work, when I worked at the Library. This book is so sad but shows the dark side of the chocolate industry. I’ve tried real hard to buy fair trade since then!

Name a book that makes you feel cosy.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #1)

This book is all about that. It’s sweet, cute and you definitely want some tea/coffee, a blanket and a cookie while reading it.

Name a book that transports you to a magical place.

Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1)

Any of Cassandra Clare’s book. The Shadowhunter world has so much magic and I love going back. I’m so excited for Chain of Gold.

Name a book that scared you.

What the Night Knows (What the Night Knows, #1)

I do not do horror or anything scary. This one freaked me out! I had to have my husband read it with me, out loud, during the day. haha I was doing this for a challenge about 9 years ago.

Name a book that makes you feel jealous.

Emergency Contact

I loved this book so much and I have so many similarities to Penny. I’m just jealous that she’s in a book and I’m not. haha 🙂

Name a book with an inspiring female character.

Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass, #7)

Aelin will probably always be the answer. She overcomes so much and does whatever it takes for the ones she loves.

Name a book with an inspiring male character.

Saga, Vol. 1 (Saga Collected Editions, #1)

I love Marko & Alana together. Marko though is totally going to do what it take to save his family. I love him!

  1. I have Winter Garden on my shelf but I haven’t ever read it. I’m happy to see you enjoyed it! And I laughed when I read what you said about Dean Koontz’s book. I’m a big Koontz fan, but his books can be terrifying! So sweet of your husband to read it with you. ❤

    • It’s such a good one. I also really loved The Nightingale by her too! hahaha!! Yes, I’m a big chicken and do not like horror or anything scary, at all! Thankfully, my husband came to the rescue! :):):)
