Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Top Books I Enjoyed but Rarely Talk About (This is for the books you liked, but rarely come up in conversation or rarely fit a TTT topic, etc.) I’m going to talk about books I really enjoyed and I don’t see talked about! We see the same books all the time, so I’m hoping this will shed some light on others that we don’t see often!

I loved this series a lot! This book is a retelling of Alice in Wonderland but it’s done so well. The details are amazing. I don’t ever see this book talked about!

I’ve seen this one a little more recently because of the new book. This is series I really enjoyed.

This book is amazing and I’m so sad I don’t see it talked about a lot! It’s really deep and emotional. It takes a certain mood but good!

This book was a whim because of the cover. I saw it come across at work and gave it a go. It is so sad but so good. Trigger: miscarriage. If I would have read this during my infertility journey, not sure how I would have liked it.

The original trilogy is phenomenal! I don’t know why I never see this talked about. I don’t care for the new books but it’s not the same author.. so.. yeah. It’s really a dark story and really intense but so worth it. Lisbeth is an amazing character.

I have not seen this series talked about. I still need to read book 3 but I really enjoy it. Dragons, guys… dragons!

I didn’t see many talking about this book and it was so good. It will make you cry but it was worth it!
These are all books that I’ve enjoyed and don’t really see talked about. I do know that I wasn’t in the blogging world when some of these came out. Although, they should still be talked about! :

The only one of these I actually have on my TBR is The Last Namsara and the dragons are the SOLE REASON I needed this book. Can’t believe I haven’t read it by now..

I bought the Last Namsara just after it was released and I was really eager to read. But. It has sat on my TBR shelf for sooooooo long. I really should read it.

I think – I think I had The strange and beautiful sorrows of Ava Lavender on my wishlist at some point. The cover is definitely familiar, the title too. But I don’t think it’s on there anymore and I can’t remember what it was about. Huh. Strange.

LOL. Yeah, it’s one of those that I picked up on a whim. It’s really sad but so very beautiful.

I wasn’t a massive fan of The Last Namsara but I’m glad you enjoyed it! I have Splintered on my TBR, definitely have to get around to it at some point.

Dragon Tattoo was a book that was heavily talked about when it first came out, I think, but not so much now.

I loved The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series when I read it ages ago! It’s been a really long time though. I wonder how I’d feel about it now 😂 I’ve heard really good reviews about a lot of these reads. Great list!

Thank you! I know, it’s been such a long time. I don’t typically re-read books because I’m scared of that exact thing happening… my feelings changing! haha. 🙂

I had a hard time with the first 2/3 of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Not enough happened until things started coming together at the end. I LOVED books 2 & 3, though. I haven’t read past those 3.

Oh yeah, the first 150ish pages of book one are a bore to get through! After that, it’s amazing. I read the book after the original trilogy and hated it!

Good to know. I don’t really plan to read that 4th book.
