T.T.T. Reasons Why I love Fantasy!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Ten reasons why I love Fantasy!

I really just love everything about fantasy, except for the stressful plots and characters sometimes. haha.

  1. Magic
  2. Magical Creatures
  3. The sense of Hope
  4. The escapism is amazing- such a great place to leave real life.
  5. I love the ways that authors use their imagination to create such stunning, wonderful and enjoyable worlds
  6. They are usually always a series. Sometimes more is good- ~3 books. lol
  7. It’s always good vs. evil, most of the time good wins!
  8. Amazing characters & character names
  9. THE MAPS ARE SO GOOD
  10. The impossible is always possible

Stay safe and healthy everyone! Until next week!

  1. This is a really popular topic for today’s post and I agree with all these points! The escapism is probably the biggest draw for me ❤ It's so wonderful to be able to get away to these magical and strange and sometimes scary worlds. Fab post!

    • Thank you! I know, it’s probably my favorite thing about fantasy. It’s just so endless! I think right now, I’m loving it even more because real life just stinks!

  2. I do love a good map! I wish other genre’s would use maps, as well. And escaping into fantasy is the best way to forget our troubles. ❤

  3. I’ve nodded my head to every point. Fantasy is just god-tier literature! I agree though that sometimes we really do suffer a bit too much heartbreak! JUST LET THE CHARACTERS BE OK FOR LIKE 10 PAGES! 😭
I think the fact that authors can create such amazing worlds and then have the ability to write about them in a way so that we can imagine them in such vivid detail is amazing. And I am in awe of any writer that transports their readers so thoroughly that by the time they’ve finished the book they have a moment of, “Where am I???”

    Happy Reading! ❤
