Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week’s theme is Ten opening lines!
This took a lot of research. I went through so many of my books! I cannot wait to see everyone’s posts!! Just an FYI, I count the prologue!

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”

“People disappear all the time.“

“Late one evening toward the end of March, a teenager picked up a double-barreled shotgun, walked in to the forest, put the gun to someone else’s forehead and pulled the trigger.”

“So here’s the file that almost killed me, Director.”

“I would have lived in peace.”

“TO MANY I WAS A MYTH INCARNATE, the embodiment of a most superb legend, a fairy tale.

“Eliza Mirk is the kind of name you give to the creepy girl who clings to her ex-boyfriend for weeks after he’s dumped her because she refuses to accept that he hates her guts.”

“Kell wore a very peculiar coat.”

“They never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart. And they never will.”
I had to add the second line!!

“If I have learned anything in this long life of mine, it is this: In love we find out who we want to be; in war we find out who we are.”
Stay safe and healthy everyone! Until next week!

the opening line of pride and prejudice is so iconic ❤

The one for THE NIGHTINGALE is great, isn’t it? I used it today, too, although I have to admit that I just Googled it. I didn’t look up any of the quotes I used in a real book – hopefully, Google got it right!
Happy TTT!

haha! I know, but I just couldn’t skip them because I ALWAYS read them and consider them part of the beginning. Although, I’ve recently seen some people skip them!!
