I loved this book so much. I get so many harry potter vibes!! I enjoyed this one even more than the first book. Although, we do get a lot more magic and a lot more of the world is developed in this one.
I really feel for Morrigan. This poor girl just wants to fit in and be accepted. Yet again, the fact that she’s different, is causing her own group of friends to stay away. Thank goodness for Harrison!! I think the characters grew a lot more in this one. I really enjoyed getting to know Candace better and some of the other 8 kids in Morrigan’s group.
I’m still a bit annoyed that Jupiter is missing in so much of this book!! We definitely need more of him and need him to stop leaving every 5 seconds.
I think that the world building was really awesome in this book. She expanded so much, like the different streets and how they can change midway. Really fun.
There’s a mystery going on in this one, when people and species start going missing. Of course, all eyes start turning to the Wundersmith but she’s determined to figure out who is really behind this!
I really enjoyed this book and I think a lot of kids would too! There’s a lot more magic and fun in this one. I also think the friendships that grow are really great too.

Oh no, I’m sad to hear that Jupiter continues disappearing every five minutes in this book 😦 I was looking forward to getting more of him too! But it sounds like the world building and other young characters are built on nicely! Also sad to hear Morrigan is still being treated differently but at least she has her bestie! So excited to hear you enjoyed this even more than the first 😀 Great review, Leslie!
