These books are so cute. I really think a lot of middle grade readers would enjoy them!
I love all the different takes and renditions of the fairy tale characters we know and love. This book had a lot more substance than the previous two. Alex is training to be a fairy Godmother and she’s separated from her family, for good. Or is she?! hmm.. Anyways, her brother is in the otherworld and getting into his own adventures.
These books (mentioned before) are chunks but this one I flew through. There was so much going on and a lot of new developments that had be flying through the pages. I love Chris Colfer and his writing might not be the greatest but he can sure make an entertaining story for kids.
I’m loving so many of these recurring characters, so much. Especially. Red riding hood! These can get a bit “cute-sy” but they are middle grade reads. I try not to judge too harshly. I do enjoy that there’s always a lot of great messages in these books!
If you like fairy tales and adventure these are great books. I really think a lot of middle grade readers would enjoy them. I can’t wait to share them with my kid!
