Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week it’s Top Ten Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By. I’m not really feeling this topic.I can tell you Sarah J. Maas, Cassandra Clare & Backman. I feel like I did something recently and instead I want to talk about my Top Ten NEW Authors! These are new authors to me, not necessarily new authors. 🙂

The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, #1)

Brandon Sanderson. This is my first by him and I fell in love.

The House in the Cerulean Sea

TJ Klune. This is probably going to be one of my favorites of the year. I can’t wait to read more from him!

Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1)

Robin LaFevers. Ahh, such a great vampire book! I really loved her writing. I can’t wait to read more.

The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1)

Rick Riordan. I am just now reading Percy Jackson and they are so good. I’ve read the first two now. I’ve also loved Rick’s twitter feed lately. haha!

The Diviners (The Diviners, #1)

Libba Bray. I can’t believe it’s taken me long to start this series!! I really enjoyed book 1 and I definitely want to continue.

The Unhoneymooners

Christina Lauren. This was my first book by them this year. I loved it so much and I am now such a fan. I’ve read another and have an e-ARC for their new one.

Crown of Feathers (Crown of Feathers, #1)

Nicki Pau Preto. I have now read both books in this series and loved them. I am such a fan of her writing.

A Curse So Dark and Lonely (Cursebreakers, #1)

Brigid Kemmerer. This was my first 5 star read of the year. I enjoyed the next book too but not as much!

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1)

Neal Shusterman. I read this whole series in January this year. I LOVED the first two books but book 3 was so disappointing. I will pick up the next thing he writes though!

Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor, #1)

Jessica Townsend. I loved book 1 and immediately purchased book 2 and pre-ordered book 3. This series is so good for MG!

I know that a lot of these authors aren’t technically new but they are to me. I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to read some of these books. I’ve read a lot of new authors this year but these are the ones that I will read anything they write from now on! 🙂

Have you read any of these or want to?

Stay safe and healthy everyone! Until next week!

    • I am trying to make myself to read the next two books soon!! Haha, I’m so bad at starting series and not continuing! Cerulean was a great read, I highly recommend it!! 🙂

  1. Christina Lauren is fairly new to me as well. I read one from them last year and one this year, though I didn’t love the one I read this year (The Honey-Don’t List). I wouldn’t consider them a favorite just yet, but I will definitely read more of their work!

    • Oh yeah, I think I have like 4 favorite authors, it takes a lot. I’m just glad that I’m finding new authors. I’m trying. Oh no! I have heard that the newest one isn’t the best. I haven’t read it yet though.

  2. I like this topic idea (is it alright if I steal it one day when I don’t like a prompt given by TTT?) I was new to Sanderson last year with Warbreaker and I’m no committed to reading all of his books:)
