I cannot believe that we are headed into fall soon. Where did summer go?? It’s extremely hot this week and so many people are putting pumpkins out and acting like fall is here… not yet folks! Anyways, I am pretty proud with my month. I participated in two readathons and read a decent amount of books. On top of all this, my son has had the sleeping schedule from hell. It’s been rough. We are making it through though. Good thing he’s cute! haha 😀 I know a lot of people are going back to school and it’s a weird time. Good luck to you all- students and staff. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy too!
I read 20 books that totaled 7,438 pages. I read some chunky books this month!!
I have filled in the letter O on my AtoZ challenge. I only have Z left. I have the book and like 4 months to read it!
I’ve also read 10 books for my #startonyourshelfathon and I now have a total of 96 of my own books! If only I could stop buying books!!
I read 14 books for Trope-ical Readathon! I unfortunately didn’t get to the Sci-Fi/Fantasy team books because both of those are on super long hold lists at the library. I hope to read them when they become available though because I already had Cinderella is Dead on hold!
I know there might be some controversy but I did finish my N.E.W.T.S! It was my first year participating and I didn’t want to be unfinished. I only had to read 4 books though:
- Ancient Runes O: Red, White & Royal Blue
- Defense Against the Dark Arts E: Days of Blood & Starlight
- History of Magic E: Midnight Sun
- Mermaid Linguistics- Herbology E: Anxious Poeple

I didn’t know what to expect but I loved this. It was funny but Lawson was so honest about her depression and anxiety. I loved this one so much.
I loved this one so much. It was such a sweet story!
I did the audiobook and it was the way to go. I felt so much emotion from her. Such a fabulous memoir!
This was not on my radar but it was a “Read Now” for a day. I was surprised by how much I liked this!
This book is so good. I have now read two Sanderson books and loved them both. Although, I still give Way of Kings a bit more love.
This was so cute. I really enjoyed this MG!

I was on the fence for so long. I felt like it would be a lot of politics. I was right. I did not love this like everyone else and I’m so sad. I did enjoy it but it didn’t meet my expectations!
This was so good. The last half of this book is so crazy!! I can’t wait for the next book.
This was so good. Backman is just amazing at writing about humans. ❤
I liked this and the ending was enjoyable. I didn’t love it like everyone else though.I will continue!
I’m not even sure what to think. This was really uncomfortable for me to read.
Own: Book of the Month
I enjoyed this but mostly for nostalgia. I loved Edward’s POV because I loved learning so much more about the Cullen’s.
I finally got book 7. This is such a quick and fun read.
Such a beautiful graphic novel!
I read this for a blog tour and I really enjoyed it!

This book is so good. It did crush my heart though. Worth it. Thank you, Hamad!
This was such a fantastic follow up to book 1! I’m so glad that I’ve finally picked up this series.
I ordered this on a whim because I’ve been getting into a lot more graphic novels. I am obsessed with Wonder Woman. I really enjoyed this but got some spoilers for the new movie, I think.
This was such a cute and quick read. I wish I would have read it years ago. I actually liked this better than the movie, a big surprise… not!
How did your month go? Did it go as planned or did you struggle? Did we read any of the same books?!
I hope that everyone is doing well and staying sane!! ❤
