Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week is the Top Ten Non-Bookish Hobbies (let’s get to know each other! What do you do that does not involve books or reading?)

Ohh… this is a fun one! Will I have ten?? I doubt it! I can’t wait to get to know people better! πŸ™‚

** There are a lot of photos, if this causes your pages to load slowly, I really do apologize!!**

Cooking

Organizing

I’ve recently been organizing my whole house. It’s been a new hobby I picked up in quarantine.

CRAFTING

I am a big crafter. I have a room that’s busting with supplies. I made a lot of different things. I do a lot of handmade gifts! πŸ™‚ I made this and use it a lot on my bookstagram! @booksarethenewblack11

PLANTS

Plants are my #1 hobby!! I’ve been working on this Ikea greenhouse cabinet over the last month. I’ll show you more of my beautiful plant babies…

You can also see more at my plantstagram @themoorejungle πŸ™‚

I really like to propagate from my plants to give as gifts too!!

Funko Pop

Funko is a hobby that I share with my husband. We have a lot but they are put away bc we thought we were going to be moving. I had to grab an old photo off instagram!

Journaling

I also haven’t done this in a while but I’m big into journaling and Bible journaling. I love stationary and pens!! My pen collection is kinda crazy. I do currently keep a journal that I write to Oliver. πŸ™‚

I am sure that I’ll see more during blog hopping that I forgot. I think 6 is pretty good! Especially, since I went photo crazy with this post. lol Do we have any of the same hobbies in common!??!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well! Can’t wait to connect with you!! <3<3 Leave your link below so I can check out your post too!

    • Thank you! Oh my gosh… same!! I just catapulted me into organizing everything. I think it had to do with us being stuck at home all the time and gave us something that felt like we had some control!

    • Thank you! Haha.. it’s a new thing for me. I started seeing them all over Instagram and a couple plant YouTubers I follow have them. I convinced my husband I needed it. haha. It’s actually GREAT for cuttings and small plants. They love that light and extra humidity!!

    • Thank you!! Hehe.. my best friend was the same…then I gave her an easy plant and now she’s getting hooked. I just took her two more babies from my mama plants this past weekend. I highly recommend a pothos! So easy!! πŸ™‚

  1. Dang, I couldn’t get most of these photos to load! I really wanted to see all your fabulous creations 😦

I wish I had a greener thumb, but I’m really bad about keeping plants alive. I do currently have a cactus and an aloe vera plant in my kitchen windowsill (both were gifts from people who don’t know me well, LOL) that are actually doing great. Neither require much water, so they’re fine if I forget to water them … phew!

Oooh, what’s Bible journaling? I actually just bought a journal that is for recording thoughts as you read and study the scriptures. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m planning to soon.

    Happy TTT!

    • Ohhh no!!! I’m so sorry. I had a feeling that would happen to some people bc I did add a lot. 😦

Hahah.. those are excellent if you forget to water! They thrive on neglect, haha.

Bible Journaling is different for a lot of people. For me, I pick a book like Proverbs and read through.. splitting up chapters throughout the month. I then pick out scriptures that I love or feel that moved me in a certain way during those reads. I also will find like lesson plans on Pinterest. Say, you are needing some guidance or you want to read about certain areas- anxiety or conflict. I haven’t done it since my son was born but I really need to get back to it.

  2. I don’t know if I can claim being organized as one of my hobbies, but I aspire to being super organized. And I wish I was better at keeping plants alive. Fun list! πŸ™‚
