Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week is the Top Ten Books I’d like to Re-Read. I don’t re-read books really. I just feel like I don’t want to chance my feelings changing out a book or that I have too many on my TBR lol. Instead, I’m going to do focus on Middle Grade that I’ve loved this year.

I never used to read Middle Grade until I found Believathon in May. It’s actually my favorite readathon now! I just participated in the 3rd one last month. It’s such a fun time and I’ve fallen in love with Middle Grade. It also helps get you out of a slump too.

Tilly and the Bookwanderers (Pages & Co. #1)

I just recently read this one and I fell in love with it so fast. It’s such a fun story and what’s better than a book centered story?!

Such a great adventure story but it will hurt. So worth it.

A Sprinkle of Sorcery (A Pinch of Magic, #2)

Not only is this gorgeous on the outside it is inside too. This is the second book but it’s my favorite out of the two, so far.

Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor, #1)

This series is fantastic! I just finished the third book and it’s so good. I highly recommend it!

A Little Princess

I’ve been hit or miss on classics lately. I loved the movie when I was younger but never read the book. I was surprised at how different this is but I loved it.

The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1)

Such a great series! I have one more to go but I’ve been enjoying my time in this world.

Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

This book is beautifully written and it’s one of my favorites now. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

The Beast and the Bethany

I was on a book tour for this book but I promise it has not influenced anything. It was so fun and I really had a great time while reading this! Wonderful illustrations!

Malamander (The Legends of Eerie-on-Sea, #1)

Different than anything I’ve read lately. So fun. I also love the illustrations!

Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball

Supurb illustrations and so cute. It’s also got some very good lessons in here. Great series.

I can’t believe it’s December!! I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Happy Holidays, if you participate! It’s my favorite time of year! ❤

    • Thank you! I never really read it until this year and have loved it. There are so many wonderful stories. I just finished the 3rd Nevermoor books. Such a wonderful story! Pinch of Magic is good. The covers are beautiful if you get them through the UK (Book Depository)! Gold foiling all over.

    • I was so tired of being out of the loop and started reading The Lightning Thief this summer. I only have the last book left in the series. It’s a fun time. I really discovered MG this year.. I didn’t really know what I was missing but wow… there are some GREAT stories!!

  1. Love this list! I’m so glad that I started to get more into middle grade because I’ve really enjoyed all the ones I’ve read so far. Like you mentioned, they’re also super good for getting out of slumps! I just finished Gargantis (the book after Malamander) this weekend and it was great! Haven’t heard of Brighstorm but it looks amazing so will defo check it out 🙂

    • Thank you!! Omg, I am so excited to hear that bc I pre-ordered Gargantis through Target’s black Friday sale last week!! I can’t wait. I loved Brightstorm and Pages and Co. Sooo good!! I really think that instead of doing a top 5 of the end of the year… I have to do categories now. LOL
