November Wrap Up!

I can’t believe that the year is almost over. I am a HUGE Christmas lover and this is my favorite time of the year. I will say… it’s harder with not being around family. We are doing what we got to do though to make sure everyone makes it into the New Year. I have still had some trouble keeping up with reading and blogging.

I hit August and I hit the biggest wall. I just had so many things going on in my personal life and then the whole world going to crap was tough. I did participate in Believeathon in November and that really helped me climb out of the deep, dark, slumpy, hole I was in.

I read 20 books that totaled 6,910 pages. I read a lot of smaller page count books this month. Otherwise, this number would be really low!

I have filled in no letters on my AtoZ challenge. I only have Z left. I still have time! I HOPE! haha

I’ve also read 13 books for my #startonyourshelfathon and I now have a total of 127 of my own books! If only I could stop buying books!!

***If there’s a review, it’s linked… just click the photo!*** I AM REALLY BEHIND ON REVIEWS THIS MONTH!! Also, Doing a lot of mini-reviews.

Books Read:

Brunette Ambition

Ugh.. this was a major letdown. I did listen to the audiobook and I literally thought I was listening to Rachel from Glee.. not much difference in personality? I don’t know.

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Love & Olives (Love & Gelato, #3)

I really enjoyed this one. I love Greece and this makes me want to visit so much more. I thought it had a great story about relationships.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Murder Most Unladylike (Murder Most Unladylike Mysteries, #1)

This was okay. I really loved the plot but one of the main characters drove me nuts. She was horrible. I do have the next book and plan to read it.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The Magical Unicorn Society Official Handbook

Such a beautiful book! Great story too.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

A beautiful story. A Must read!!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A Pinch of Magic (A Pinch of Magic, #1)

Such a magical story. I have enjoyed my time with these sisters!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community

I listened to this as an audiobook. A lot of stories in here! Be Kind ❤

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's Moving Castle, #1)

This was a slow build but I loved it. Definitely a classic for a reason!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Twenty-one Truths About Love

This was to hit a challenge prompt. It was all written in lists and I loved that. I did have issues with the story itself though.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Amelia Fang and the Unicorns of Glitteropolis

Such great illustrations to go a long with a cute and fun story!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Stage Dreams

This was a recommendation to fill a prompt. It was interesting.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Brightstorm

A wonderful story about siblings on an adventure. It will make you cry though.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A Sprinkle of Sorcery (A Pinch of Magic, #2)

I liked this one more than the first! We get much more adventure and sisterly magic. ❤

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The Girl Who Speaks Bear

I found myself frustrated with the main character at times but really liked the plot!

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Tilly and the Bookwanderers (Pages & Co. #1)

I love this story so much. One of my favorite middle grades!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Fangirl, Vol. 1: The Manga

If you loved the book.. you will love this. I loved going back and there’s great illustrations.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The House with Chicken Legs

I really liked this journey but I had some issues with the main character. It might be the writing style.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Malamander (The Legends of Eerie-on-Sea, #1)

Such a different and fun story! I really liked the take on this one.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor, #3)

I have enjoyed this series so very much. There are times in this chunky book that things were a bit slow. It’s a book where Morrigan is really trying to figure out who she is and learn. I get that but the action was a little lacking. Otherwise, it was a wonderful continuation of the series!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A Promised Land

I listened to the audiobook and this is a long one. There are some things that really went over my head because it’s a lot of policies and White House talk but it was really good. Really good insights to his presidency.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

How did your month go? Did it go as planned or did you struggle? Did we read any of the same books?!

I hope that everyone is doing well and staying sane!! ❤
