W.W.W 2/3/21

This is a weekly meme hosted by, Taking on a World of Words. It’s where we talk about the Three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you will read next?

What I’m currently reading?

The Emperor of Evening Stars (The Bargainer, #2.5)

I’m about half way and WOW!! So good.

What did I recently finish?

Revolutionary (Clandestine Magic Book 3)

This was a fun series and I’m glad that I gave it a try! I thought this was a good finish, even if it was slow at times.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Rhapsodic (The Bargainer, #1)

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I did a buddy read with Hamad @ The Book Prescription! I had mixed feelings on this book. I appreciate what she was trying to do but I had some issues with it.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

A Strange Hymn (The Bargainer #2)

I really loved book 1 and and this one was still good but felt like it was all set up. There’s a lot of fluff in the middle.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

My Calamity Jane (The Lady Janies, #3)

I did a buddy read of this with Whitney @ Whit Reads Lit! This was probably more a genre issue than anything. I enjoyed it for the most part but I’ve liked the other two in this series more. I am so glad to have done this buddy read with Whitney though!! 🙂

Rating: 3 out of 5.

What will I read next?

Dark Harmony (The Bargainer, #3)

I can’t wait to finish out this series!!

The Empire of Gold (Daevabad Trilogy, #3)

I am so nervous about finishing but it. is. time. Finally!

Stay safe and healthy! Happy Reading!

  1. Wow, look at you smashing those reads, Leslie! That’s awesome 😍 I hadn’t heard of this series by Thalassa before but I just read the synopsis for the first book and just saw it’s on Kindle Unlimited… So I guess I know what I’m going to be picking up soon?! I still have to finish the Clandestine Magic series but I’m glad to hear it ends well! I also can’t wait for our buddy read next week 😃 Hope you’re having a great week and happy reading!
