80s Movie Tag!

Thanks to the lovely Siobhan @ Siobhan’s Novelties for the tag! Check out her blog, if you haven’t! I love so many of these movies and I’m really excited to do this one. I was born the tale end of the 80’s!

IT HAS BEEN SOOO LONG SINCE I STARTED THIS TAG!! Sorry, it’s been sitting in my drafts for like a year! lol

A BOOK THAT KEPT YOU UP ALL NIGHT

House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City, #1)

I had such a hard time putting this down that I was up way late trying to finish it. With a baby, it was a lot harder to stay awake but I pushed on. haha

A WONDERFULLY QUOTABLE BOOK

The House in the Cerulean Sea

This book is soooo quotable! One of the best books I read last year too.

“Change often starts with the smallest of whispers. Like-minded people building it up to a roar.”

A CHARACTER WHO LOVES BREAKING THE RULES

Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1)

Mia, Mia, Mia! haha

A BOOK COUPLE THAT TOOK AN ETERNITY TO GET TOGETHER

Subversive (Clandestine Magic, #1)

Beatrix and Peter… don’t want to give spoilers but yeah..

A BOOK INVOLVING TIME TRAVEL

Ruby Red (Precious Stone Trilogy, #1)

I really enjoyed this series! I believe that I read it before I had Goodreads and don’t know my rating. haha

A CHARACTER WITH A UNIQUE STYLE

The Bane Chronicles

MAGNUS BANE. Can’t change my mind.

FAVOURITE BOOK INVOLVING TRAINING/MENTORING TROPE

The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1)

I really think this whole series has a lot of mentoring and training. It’s such a fun series.

A BOOK WITH A TRIP THAT DOESN’T GO TO PLAN

Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail

I didn’t really like this book but this is definitely a trip that didn’t go to plan.

A BOOK WITH THE CENTRAL CHARACTER’S NAME IN THE TITLE

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

Such a wonderful gem of a book!

A FEMALE CHARACTER WHO COMES OUT OF HER SHELL

Fangirl

Definitely, Cath. It takes a lot but she eventually does.

A DEATH THAT TOOK YOU BY SURPRISE

UGHHHHH… SABAA, WHY?! I still need to read the last book but I am so scared!! Soon!

AN ENDING THAT LEFT YOU BOTH HAPPY AND SAD

The Fault in Our Stars

This is the only John Green book I like and it’s definitely a bittersweet ending.

Tag Time:

ANYONE!! I’m not going to tag people because I’m sooo behind on this already!

  1. I loved The Fault in Our Stars, and it is also the only John Green book I’ve read. I have a couple of his books on my Kindle, and have even started them…they’re not grabbing me.

I love the look of The House on the Cerulean Sea.

    Thanks for sharing.
