W.W.W 2/17/21

This is a weekly meme hosted by, Taking on a World of Words. It’s where we talk about the Three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you will read next?

What I’m currently reading?

The Empire of Gold (Daevabad Trilogy, #3)

I am finally making some progress and I’m at 40%. It’s such a great and interesting read but I’m so scared of finishing it!

A Vow So Bold and Deadly (Cursebreakers, #3)

I’m about 30% of the way and enjoy it. I do enjoy Rhen and Harper’s chapters more than Lia and Grey. I mean.. they are not as fascinating for some reason. lol

The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s: An Oral History

I’m struggling with this one. I think audiobook format wasn’t the best choice.

What did I recently finish?

The Switch

I did a buddy read with Dini @ Dini Panda Reads! We both really enjoyed it!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Unfinished

I listened to this as an audiobook and it was a super fast read/listen. I enjoyed it and she was really raw and open at times. The chapters about her father were tough and really sad. Overall, a great read/listen!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Namesake (Fable, #2)

This one started off a bit slow for me but really picked up around 30%! I enjoyed it and for some reason forget it was a duology!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

What will I read next?

I’m just trying to get through these this week! Not sure what I will pick up next!!

Stay safe and healthy! Happy Reading!

  1. Your current reads looks so great! I’ve been thinking about reading City of Brass but I just have so many other books that need reading. I have The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary on my tbr and hope I will get to it soon. I heards some mixed things though.
    Happy reading! ❤

    • Thank you! I totally understand that problem. City of Brass and the whole series has been amazing. At least, it’s one that can be binged now at this point! I hope you find time to pick it up one day because it’s fabulous!! ❤

    • Fable is a duology and it’s great. I would pick that one up first because it’s only two books!! Then City of Brass.. such a lovely series (even though I’m only in the middle of book three) haha. Have a great week too!

  5. I didn’t love Grey’s character in the second book, and I hated Lia, so I don’t blame you for not liking them as much as Harper and Rhen, honestly. xD I’m still debating on whether I want to read A Vow So Bold and Deadly, so I’ll be curious to see what you think of it when you’re done! Happy reading!

    • Yeah, I felt the same about book two and that’s why it was a bit of a let down. I enjoyed it but it wasn’t as good as book 1. I finished book three and .. I just wouldn’t. It was an okay read and I did enjoy some aspects but hated Lia Mara even more. lol. There’s basically no plot and there are so many things she doesn’t wrap up for this to be a series ending book. I think my review is up now, if you want more in depth. 🙂
