The Reread Book Tag!

I want to thank Maya @ Her Bookish Desires for the tag! If you haven’t checked out her blog, you really should! We just started following each other a few weeks ago and I’m so glad I found her blog. She’s so sweet and has awesome content! ❤ I’ve linked her post for this too!

I don’t typically re-read books, like ever. It’s something that I want to do and I think this is the perfect tag to make me think about what I really want to jump into or give another read.

Rules:

Where the Wild Things Are

I enjoyed this one but it was my husbands favorite. We did my Oliver’s entire room in this theme and read it to him all the time. 🙂

The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s: An Oral History

I just DNF’d this a few days ago. I was listening to the audio and it was crazy complicated with the several people interjecting in. It would be much easier in book format. I would be willing to give it another go in physical form.

The House in the Cerulean Sea

I talk about and recommend this book a lot. It’s so great and I kind of do want to re-read it!!

Everless (Everless, #1)

I know, I know. A lot of people like this book but I was not one of them!

The Great Gatsby

My school was terrible bc their curriculum hardly ever had us reading books for class. I do want to read this classic, so I’m putting it here. I did not read it in school. lol

Sarah J. Maas or Fredrik Backman!

Hmm.. This is a tough question! I think I would love to re-read Illuminae. It was such a wonderful series and it’s one that I would probably get through rather quickly.

I think I would re-read, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Those are such cute and fast paced books. It would be a great lighter read and I did enjoy the movies, even if they disappointed me a bit.

So, I’ve started listening to memoirs on audio (it’s the only genre I can do) and I want to re-read some of the older ones. I would like to listen to Bossypants by Tina Fey or Yes, Please! by Amy Poehler!

I’m Tagging: I love the freedom of tagging however many I want! Sometimes it calls for way too many. lol

As always, no pressure. If you have done this already or don’t want to.. totally okay!!

  1. Oh this is fun! And I LOVE to reread. I’m a fan of The Great Gatsby, but I know it’s a very polarizing book. To All The Boys I Loved Before is definitely a series I could reread one day, as well. And I listened to Yes, Please! and it was great! I own Bossypants in physical form but haven’t read it yet. I should probably just listen to it. 🙂

    • That’s awesome!! I know that so many people do. I really think my problem is that I’ll want to re-read everything and read new things and I’ll be so overwhelmed. hahaha. Yes!! You should listen to it, for sure. It’s the only way I do memoirs now!!! I think I might want to re-read/listen to both of those since it’s been ages since I’ve read the physical copies!

  2. Aww you are so sweet!! ❤️ I am SO happy you did the tag… I really enjoyed reading your answers! I absolutely loved The Great Gatsby (even named my dog after Gatsby 😂). I really need to read Illuminae. So many people I have talked to love it and I still have yet to read it 😂 . I also need to read To All the Boys I have Loved Before… I am trying to get into more romance so I will try and read that this year or in the near future. Great post as always!! ❤️

    • Thank you so much!! It was fun to think about what I would want to re-read! So thanks for the tag!! ❤ Awww, that's actually a really great name for a dog! You should totally read Illuminae because it's a super fast read. I know that the books look huge but there are so many illustrations and it's all like mixed media (emails, chats and stuff) it goes fast!! 🙂

  3. Great tag! I enjoy rereading & I think I’ve reread The hunger Games series the most. Pride and Prejudice is a close second. I taught Gatsby so many times that I don’t think I’ll ever reread it. That and Romeo and Juliet. lol
