Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week is the Top Ten Book Quotes that Fit X Theme (Pick any theme you want, i.e., motivational quotes, romantic dialogues, hunger-inducing quotes, quotes that fill you with hope, quotes on defeating adversity, quotes that present strong emotions, healing, etc. and then select quotes from books that fit that theme.)
Hmm.. I’m really not loving this topic. I don’t think it was too long ago that I did a quotes post. Maybe it was but I feel like there isn’t a ton more that I would want to add or change. I think I’m going to just venture off into my own topic this week, sorry!
I think I’m going to pick a theme and I’m going to talk about some of my favorite romance books. I really haven’t been reading romance a super long time, so it might be a short list but it does fit a theme. Romance. haha.
Just a heads up that a lot of my favorites definitely have some enemies-to-lovers in them. Maybe a lot.. maybe a little but some. It’s one of my favorite tropes- don’t come at me! 😀

What do you think about my choices?? Let’s chat below!
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy ❤

The Unhoneymooners looks really good. So does Beach Road. I’ve seen good things on both of those…

Both great reads! If you are ever in the mood for a romance. 😉

Always on the lookout for a good contemporary romance, have you read The Brown Sisters series? If not, I definitely recommend those. Here’s my TTT https://readwithstefani.com/my-favorite-quotes-from-books/ Happy reading!

Good for you for picking a topic that suited you better! Yeah, I thought it was a bit soon to do another quote theme, too. But that’s life. 🙂

Thank you! I actually just started reading some romance last year. Not really my genre but these are all books many of my fellow bloggers loved and recommended! I did too. I think this is as far as I go.. contemporary romances. haha

Haha if you’re enjoying them then i recommend anything by Jill Mansell, she’s one of the few romance authors who’s an insta buy for me. They’re like rom coms in book format & always make me laugh.

I don’t read much romance, but I’ve actually read two of these—THE ROSIE PROJECT and THE UNHONEYMOONERS. Loved them both! And I’m with you on the enemies-to-lovers trope. It’s one of my faves as well.
Happy TTT!

haha!! Same!! I don’t read a ton but I’ve been enjoying it more in the last year. Mostly, because I’m loving the enemies to lovers trope. So there’s more here for you, if you ever want to give some more a go. 🙂

What a great twist this week! I have to admit, I almost didn’t compile quotes either because … well, I always struggle finding a way to combine them in a coherent list. So I appreciate you going in entirely different direction today. Though this reminds me I really need to read The Bromance Book Club since it seems like everyone has been raving about it since it came out…

Yeah, it was a combination of doing one not so long ago and just not having the mental energy to come up with a theme list and such! I have read a couple romances to get me out of a slump and I figured I would go in that direction! Oh yeah, it’s a fun one!! I need to read the third book before the 4th comes out soon!

You are right, sometimes the topic doesn’t go with our blog. You found a good way out, I mean it is X topic. LOL.
I love the name of your blog. Black doesn’t fit me at all, so I will quote this in future and since I always carry a book, it fits. Thanks.
My TTT.
