I saw this over on One Book More and thought it would be a fun new monthly post! I have tagged her post so you can check it out too! It was originally created by Reviews from the Stacks, and the idea is to spell the month using the first letter of book titles.
I’m just going to add a tidbit from the synopsis and whether I’ve read it or want to. I’ll link the Goodreads link on the title, if you want to check it out more!
How on earth is it July?!?! It’s been insanely hot here.. I think it has been everywhere. This month is crazy busy. It’s funny how with restrictions gone, how much life has just been full blown crazy. haha. The 10th is our 10 year wedding anniversary too!!

“Miss Rook, I am not an occultist,” Jackaby said. “I have a gift that allows me to see truth where others see the illusion–and there are many illusions. All the world’s a stage, as they say, and I seem to have the only seat in the house with a view behind the curtain.”
I actually didn’t love this one as much as everyone else. It was a fast read though but it didn’t wow me. I know, I’m in the minority!
U- Unfinished by Priyanka Chopra Jonas

“A remarkable life story rooted in two different worlds, Unfinished offers insights into Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s childhood in India; her formative teenage years in the United States; and her return to India, where against all odds as a newcomer to the pageant world, she won the national and international beauty competitions that launched her global acting career.”
I wasn’t sure I how I would like this but I needed an audiobook. I ended up really enjoying it and I recommend listening to it!
L- Last Legacy, The by Adrienne Young

“When a letter from her uncle Henrik arrives on Bryn Roth’s eighteenth birthday, summoning her back to Bastian, Bryn is eager to prove herself and finally take her place in her long-lost family.”
I just saw this and added it to my TBR… I am so excited for this! Love this cover too.
Y- You Suck by Christopher Moore

“Just ask C. Thomas Flood. Waking up after a fantastic night unlike anything he’s ever experienced, he discovers that his girlfriend, Jody, is a vampire. And surprise! Now he’s one, too. For some couples, the whole biting-and-blood thing would have been a deal breaker. But Tommy and Jody are in love, and they vow to work through their issues.”
I didn’t love this book. I don’t think the author’s writing style is for me and that’s totally okay. Not everyone is going to love every book!
Tagging: ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DO THIS ONE!!

Happy anniversary!! The 9th is our 10 year anniversary!!

I’m with you on Jackaby. I listened to it on a long drive and while it kept me interested, it didn’t wow me, either. Happy Anniversary!

Thank you! Yes, it’s been so weird…we have terribly hot days and then rainy days and it cooled off last weekend. So weird!!

Another fun month in books post! I did love Jackaby, but like you say, not every book is for every reader. Can’t wait to see what you do with August. 🙂

Happy Anniversary. The tenth is very special, I remember mine very well though it’s almost thirty years ago.
And what a great challenge. My Spell the Month in Books. Thanks for the idea.
