W.W.W. 7/28/21

This is a weekly meme hosted by, Taking on a World of Words. It’s where we talk about the Three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you will read next?

Hey guys! It’s been quite a while since I’ve done one of these! I have been doing some reading but been terrible at blogging lately. Just still quite busy! I hope everyone is doing well. ❤

What I’m currently reading?

The Crown of Gilded Bones (Blood and Ash, #3)

I’ve been doing a buddy read of this whole series with Dini & Maya. It’s been a lot of fun! About 60% of the way through.

Give Them Lala

This is a guilty pleasure but enjoying it so far. 30% in.

What did I recently finish?

Fugitive Telemetry (The Murderbot Diaries, #6)

Dini and I have buddy read this whole series!! We started in like March but with all other books and life it took a bit. It was a blast!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A Master of Djinn

I saw this around and had no idea it was a part of a series. Apparently, they can be read on their own, whish is great. I did really enjoy this. It’s something a bit different for me but enjoyable! It was really predictable though.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire (Blood and Ash, #2)

This has been a mess of a series, to be honest. The world-building and characters are not the best but the romance is great. IF this book were like 200 pages shorter it would cut out so much repetition and that would help a lot. We are enjoying this buddy read though.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

What will I read next?

Wildwood Whispers

This is a complete cover read. I was lucky enough to have an e-ARC available to me and this cover pulled me in! It does sound quite intriguing though!

Stay safe and healthy! Happy Reading!

  1. Wildwood Whispers does have a gorgeous cover! Funnily enough, I notice it’s written by someone named Willa. I recently picked up an impulse read at the library simply because the author was also named Willa, and it’s my daughter’s name. I named my daughter that after Willa Cather and don’t hear the name much. I guess there are sillier reasons to pick up books, right? Here’s my WWW post.

    • I feel like there’s really not many reasons that are silly!!! I do things like that all the time. I bought wine because it had my son’s name on it.. it was gross but I still kept the bottle. haha! It’s such a beautiful name and I don’t see it a lot either. ❤

    • I was in the same boat! Luckily, I did a buddy read and that helped tremendously. I am notorious for starting series and never finishing. It was nice to have someone else push me! It was a fun ride!

  2. I’ll be reading Wildwood Whispers next, too! What it’s about never seems to stick in my head, but, with a cover that gorgeous, I’m almost certain it’ll be a wonderful read. I hope you enjoy it!
