Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week is Top Ten Book Cover Buys!
This is something that happens regularly. I try not to do this but it just seems to happen over and over! So these are some books that I had to buy because I either saw the beautiful cover or read them and needed to display the cover on my book shelves!
I’ve actually been a little MIA lately. It’s been pretty busy here and it doesn’t look like it’s going to lighten up much. My husband did pass his huge exam and it’s been such a relief!! No more 4 month studying sessions. Those were hard and it’s been over a decade. It’s crazy that it is over and I’m so excited for him (and me)! haha. House search still continues and I don’t really see and end in sight. haha.

This cover is one of my favorites!! It’s gorgeous and I totally bought it for the cover! I am so glad that I loved the inside too!!

This is one of my favorite covers by Clare. I was unsure about this series but once I saw the cover I bought it.

I love this cover so much and mainly why I bought it. It was a bit disappointing for me because I had such high expectations but that’s okay.

I don’t do horror and I struggled with this one a bit because of that. I absolutely loved the cover and bought it. I don’t regret it. haha

I didn’t know anything about this but the cover just really caught my eye. I pre-ordered it and then started to see it around. I still haven’t read it. I think I packed it.

All of the books in this series are absolutely gorgeous. I did have to order them from the UK but these were absolutely cover buys!

This book is just stunning. ❤

This cover is amazing but so is the naked cover!

All of this series. They are amazing!
I’m excited to see what others answers are to this question! Do we have any of the same books on your cover buy list?? Let’s chat below!
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy ❤

Great list! With the Fire On High has such a gorgeous cover.

Congrats to your husband! I’m sure it’s a relief for both of you to have his exams out of the way.
These are some pretty covers. I totally get why they suckered you into buying the book. Ha ha.
Happy TTT!

Congrats to your husband! That’s awesome! And house hunting right now must be hard. I hope you find the perfect house soon. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to resist a Cassandra Clare cover. 😉

Thank you!! We are relieved, haha. Yes, house hunting is the worst and I hate it. lol. I hope so too because I put all our winter in storage and I really don’t want to have to dig it out! haha
Yes! Her covers are so good. I still haven’t read the most recent. I was planning on it but then my ARC’s got kind of crazy. Maybe next month!! lol

I agree on The Gilded Wolves trilogy, all three covers are gorgeous. A Song of Wraiths and Ruin does have a really striking cover, but I’m glad I went with the audio in the end as I really enjoyed the narration.

I can’t wait to read book 3!! lol. I really wish I could do audio! I hear so many great things about certain books and I feel like I miss out. haha

Me too! It’s not for everyone, but I’ve personally found it really helpful for my reading, especially this year, I’ve been listening to audio more than anything else.

What a great list of books. All of those covers are stunning! I agree with you about The Lost Apothecary. I really wanted to love it, but I DNFed it about halfway through.

Thank you! Yeah, it was a toss up but I kept going. I really enjoyed the storyline from the past and wanted to see where that went. The present storyline is what threw though whole book off!

I almost bought The Last Apothecary last week because it was so pretty in person, but I reminded myself I probably wouldn’t pick it up. Such a pretty cover!

Such a great selection! I loved the cover of The Lost Apothecary too; the same goes for Mexican Gothic and With The Fire On High (which I loved).
