How is it August already?! Sheesh!! I hope everyone had a great summer. I know that most schools start next week. It has been SO hot here and we’ve just been stuck inside! Now that we are seeing people more often our weekends are always so full. Although, there might be a halt to that soon. I haven’t done a TBR post all year and it’s been awesome! I’m not planning on doing one but I am going to try and knock out all my ARC’s.. I have 8 but just finished 1 today. I am hoping I put a halt on requesting a ton so I can start reading my backlist books!

What I’m currently reading?

I haven’t had much time to read the past few days. I took Ollie to a huge indoor playground Monday and then the zoo on Tuesday. We went with the neighbor and his son. So we are wiped out! But I got to about 6% in this. It’s kind of strange and I’m having some issues with the shift in voice without any warning. We will see.

What did I recently finish?

The Crown of Gilded Bones (Blood and Ash, #3)

This book was really good! I cannot wait for book 4 next year! It was a blast buddy reading it with Maya & Dini!!

This was a ride.. haha. Like I said before it’s more of a guilty pleasure read like the show. It was interesting.

This is a modern cinderella retelling. I had such a fun time with it and it’s such a great palate cleanser!! I’m between a 3.5-4 but going up for now.
