Becky’s Questions:
What is your go to genre, and your favorite book in that genre?
Ahh, I’m going with Fantasy because it’s always my go to. It’s absolutely impossible to choose one book in that genre!! Instead I’m going to add a little list… These popped up first but there are so many!
- Crescent City by Maas
- The Way of Kings by Sanderson
- An Ember in the Ashes by Tahir
- City of Brass (whole series) by Chakraborty
If you could play a character in a movie of your book of choice, who would you pick and why?
I think I am going with Aelin from Throne of Glass. I just want to be that badass! haha
What is your favorite blog post you have written?
Oh gosh… I think maybe my review of Way of Kings by Sanderson. It actually caught the eye of TheWriteReads and joining that group has been pretty awesome! I’ve been a part of a lot more blog tours and all kinds of amazing books. Plus, I think it’s a pretty awesome review. I’ll link it
What Book has been on your TBR the longest?

I have a couple of these volumes that have several books in one. They have been on there the longest. I’m still not sure if I want to jump back into them or if I want to let them go. Soul Screamers by Vincent is the series.
What is a book/series you always recommend to people?
I always recommend Fredrik Backman’s, A Man Called Ove or City of Brass, for a good fantasy.
What book first got you into reading?
Oh gosh, I think it was the Babysitter’s Club when I was younger. Twilight by Meyer really got me back into reading in High School because I kind of stopped for a while.
What movie would you love to be made into a book?
Oh, this is a brilliant question!! I think I would love The Wedding Date to become a book. I watch that movie all the time and it would be awesome to read it in book format! Unless it is based off a book and I don’t know. haha
Who are your insta-buy authors ?
Sarah J. Maas, Fredrik Backman, Cassandra Clare, Emily Henry, TJ Klune (newest to the list), and Brandon Sanderson
What are the longest and shortest book’s you’ve read?
Ohhh, let me go check Goodreads!!! haha

This is my longest book at 1,177 pages.

Okay, I didn’t include essays, novellas, or children’s books. This one is a hardcover at 64 pages. I really liked this one too. It was so long ago!
Do you listen to music whilst reading? If so what kind?
Ahh, I wish I could but I just don’t. I mean.. my husband will in the car but I tune it out. So, I don’t really listen to any on my own when I’m trying to read.
What would be the title of the book based on your life
Hardships Galore but Blessed!
I mean.. this might be a bit dramatic but we have had a lot of crazy… not going to get into it but we are so grateful for what we have and what we have overcome! ❤
Hermione’s Questions:
Do you have a fear of something or a specific phobia?
Ohh, yes! So, I’m scared of clowns but not enough that I have a phobia.. I don’t think. What phobia I do have is Trypophobia! It’s an aversion to small clusters or small holes/bumps. For example, the lotus seedheads. Omg. I want to puke just thinking about it!
Name ALL of your favorite characters from your favorite books
Oh, goodness! I’m just going to go with favorite characters from a series that has a bunch of awesome characters. I’m going with the Six of Crows duology. Gosh, they are all amazing but I’ll list them: Kaz, Inej, Jasper, Nina, & Matthias (Even so)
Do you have a crush on any book character?
I really don’t have many book crushes. I think if anyone.. I would have to go with Hunt from Crescent City.
Do you make enemies faster than friends or is it the other way around?
Oh, great question! I make friends much faster than enemies. I’m super nice and always a great listener. I think those contribute to it and the fact that I hate confrontation.
Name the subject(s) you had to study at school that you absolutely hate?
Math. All the maths.
What is the longest book you have read?
Oh, I answered this above already!! Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin! It was a whopping 1,177 pages. I’ve had several others come close by a few hundred pages or so.
What is the weirdest thing you have ever said to your friends?
Lol!! I honestly have no idea.. I think one time I was trying to convince a group of friends that Justin Timberlake’s song Mirrors has the lyric- “Pocket full of soap!” It’s in fact, “pocket full of soul” haha!
What word do you use the most?
I’m going to pivot and talk about my most used word in reviews. I’ve noticed that I like the word “really.” I mean.. I really, really like it. haha. I found it 30 times in one review before. It’s crazy.
What do you love to do apart from reading?
I love to craft. I do all kinds of crafting. I love using vinyl with my cricut. I also have a lot of plants and keeping them alive and beautiful is quite the hobby!
Weird question but which do you prefer, black or white?
Black. I always prefer wearing it too!
Well, for this last question, I am giving you the chance to SCREAM about your favorite books/movies/singers or whatever else you like…
A couple of my favorite shows are:
The Office
Schitt’s Creek
Right now, the singer I’m obsessed with is Harry Styles.. we need more music Harry!
My Questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What is your most anticipated read this year? If you’ve read it… did it live up to your expectations?

- Which book has the nicest cover on your book shelf?

Thank you! Yes, I love fantasy!! I think I’m starting to really get into adult fantasy much more than YA now. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my answers! 🙂 ❤

Haha, I loved reading all your answers! I find this weird to say but that phobia you mentioned is really interesting—now I’m thinking about it and I can totally understand what you mean with the lotus seedheads 😭 Also, I use the word ‘really’ A LOT too but I think the word I use most is “definitely”? 😂

Thank you!! ❤ Haha.. omg.. they are so frightening!! I don't know how anyone can use the dried up lotus as decor. I would just barf all over. I never thought I would be the type to have a hard core phobia but those clusters make me physically ill. lol I have noticed… now that I am watching for "really" I have started using "definitely" a lot more. lol

Thanks so much for the nomination! Loved your answers. Fredrik Backman is also one of my must buy authors. I haven’t read a book of his I don’t like.

You’re welcome!! There’s one of his that I didn’t finish.. I made it half way and then stopped. It was Britt-Marie. It was a tougher one for me but it could have been the wrong mood at that time.

That is one I haven’t tackled yet. One of these days I will get a hold of the rest and finish his library.
