Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic for bloggers to choose and list their top ten. This week is Top Ten Books of 2021!!
I can’t believe this is the last TTT of 2021! What a crazy year it has been. I think this year, I did not hit a lot of my reading goals. I did hit my Goodreads goal but that was about it. The last half of the year was consumed by house hunting and moving. I just didn’t have time to read as much. I am glad that most of the unpacking is done and I can focus on reading and blogging more. I sure have missed it! Anyways, here are my top books of the year!

I really need to get back to her books. I planned on catching up this year. I only got two of hers read. This book was just so good though.

I’m really just as surprised as you are. haha. Blue aliens.. you are next. lol

A fabulous ending to an amazing series!

Her writing is just too good.

I’m not the biggest fan of his latest movies (besides SING!) but this was a phenomenal listen!

I really get why this is such a hyped-up book!!

I’m really just in love with this duo and I can’t wait for the next one!

I’m just going to say that the whole series belongs here. It’s an amazing series and I enjoyed it immensely!

Have I finished this book? Nope. I have 100 pages left but I have really enjoyed buddy reading this with my husband. It’s our first buddy read and it was fun. It’s also been fun watching the show & discussing! It’s also a really great fantasy!

This is such a great book and I can’t wait for book two!
Have you read any of these? What are your best reads this year?? Let me know or link your post! I can’t wait to add more books to my TBR! haha ❤ Let’s chat below!
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy ❤

So happy that you liked The song of Achilles, one of my fave of all the time!

I loved Amari and the Night Brothers as well, though the ending did break my heart a bit. The next one can’t get here soon enough!

Don’t you hate it when real life gets in the way of your reading? So irritating! A new house is exciting, though, and I’m glad you’re feeling settled now.
My husband read the McCounaghey book this year and LOVED it. I’ve never heard him laugh so much while reading (especially because he usually reads really deep, serious books). I need to read or listen to it, I just haven’t gotten there yet.
Happy TTT and Happy New Year!

I read The Song of Achilles this year and liked it, but it wasn’t a favourite for me. I read The Empire of Gold and the rest of the Daevabad trilogy last year and really enjoyed them.

I never think to browse the nonfiction options in Libby when I’m looking for my next audiobook — I’ll have to keep Mc-however-ya-spell-it’s in mind.

I think it’s been several years since I read a Colleen Hoover book! Heart Bones is on my tbr, as well. I really need to catch up on some of her books waiting on my shelves. I love that you’re doing a buddy read with your husband! We sort of did that this year with Lonesome Dove. He’d read it and then we listened to a lot of the audiobook together. I’ve picked up the audiobook of Dave Grohl’s memoir for us to listen to next year, so hopefully we’ve started a new trend we can keep up. 😉 Happy New Year!

Yes! It’s really fun. Although, now he wants to just keep going and these are CHUNKY books! I’m like.. well… I have to do some ARC’s and read some other books first. hahaha! Book blogging is sorta a job! I really hope it’s a trend for you guys because it is a lot of fun! Something to dicuss besides the kids. lol
