I’m also taking part in #polarthon this week too! It’s been a busy week. Last week was a lot slower though. I feel a bit slumpish and it’s making me nervous! I started a buddy read with Dini and I hope that helps. I also officially registered my son for preschool this week. He starts in September but wow! I was not ready for that. I have a few months to come to terms with it. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

I’m buddy reading this one with Dini! I’m about halfway through this one. It started off slow for me but it could have been my mood.
This is my 1st read for #polarthon. I’m 40% of the way through and really enjoying this. I feel so bad for Ash!
I did a buddy read with Marta @ Monogamist Reader for this one! It was just an okay read and pretty predictable. I wonder if I’m outgrowing YA! I will continue though because I own the whole series.
This had a rough start for me. It took me much longer than I hoped to get into it. Once it did though, it was great.
I hope to jump into this one for polarthon
Dini and I are hoping to get to this one after Gilded Ones!

I had a read this past week that was slow at times for me, and I couldn’t tell if it was my mood just like you said for your current week. I hate when I can’t tell. It makes reviewing the book so hard. I’m glad you’re enjoying it now.

Yes, it really does. It makes me wonder if I rate it lower for that reason too? It’s so hard to say and one of the worst things about being a mood reader!!

I’m feeling a little slumpish too. The past few books I read were just meh. I’m starting a reread of House of Earth and Blood today, so hopefully that will help! Happy reading, Leslie!

Oh goodness. I wonder if it has just been an accumulation of weather and reading. I’m still struggling a little bit. I’m reading the Gilded Ones and it’s good but I must be stressed or something. lol I hope House of Earth and Blood helps you out!!

I’m curious to see how y’all like The Gilded Ones. I know Dini and I seem to have very similar tastes. I keep seeing great reviews for The Justice of Kings. I’m definitely looking forward to that one!

We are about 65% of the way through and we are both enjoying it so far. I think things are about to get crazy. I did think it started off a little bit slow but that could be because of my slumpish mood. I am really enjoying it now though!

I finished it today! It was a cute middle grade and full of lessons! haha. I loved the illustrations, they are so good. I guess, you wont see that with the audio. I am jumping into book two tomorrow!

Oh gosh, yeah, I remember reading Frostheart ages ago and crying for Ash. My heart broke for him and everything he went through! Glad you’re enjoying it. Thanks for being so patient with my slowness with our buddy read this time! ❤️ Hopefully, our next one won’t happen around a super stressful time—Feb just needs to be over. Pls 😂

Yes!! Poor, Ash! Sheesh!! It was such an adventurous book! I did end up liking it. 😊 Hey, no problem!!! I took the same amount of time to read it so it worked out. Well… the bad news is that we are not even half over with Feb! Lol 😂. It’s going to get better!!

I did like it but didn’t love it as much as everyone else seemed to. It had a lot of great moments though. I loved the sisterhood!! Oooo.. crossing fingers for you!
