This was a slower month for me. I was coming off my all-time high book count in February and have been slightly fighting off a slump. It’s been slow going but I might have started to pick the pace up a bit. We also had some nice weather the last couple of weeks (mixed with cold days) and my son and I had to take advantage. I’ve also been fighting some health problems from a medication I was on. There have been some depressing days but it’s looking up. It’s just been a weird month and I’m so glad it’s over. Come on March and spring! Spring is my favorite time and I think we all need some sunshine with how dark the world has become.
I read a total of 17 books this month. It was definitely a slower month but I think that’s pretty good. Here’s a breakdown of my books.
I completed 11 books for my PopSugar Challenge
I completed 14 books for my Beat the Backlist Challenge.

I also want to talk about a new monthly post I’ve created. It’s all about highlighting the Birthstone of the month with lovely book covers. Check it out here if you want to see more about it. Definitely join in next month if you think it looks fun! ❤ I’ve seen a couple people participate and it’s been so awesome to see! Thanks, guys! I’m honored you have jumped in! ❤

Those Ice Planet books always help me out of a slump because they’re so ridiculous. I hope March is better for your slump and body.

I’d take those numbers for a slow month – sure would help my NetGalley count.

I am surprisingly on track with Netgalley but I feel like I can lose that ground anytime! haha

Great post, Leslie! Doesn’t matter slump or not, as long as you’re enjoying the reading journey 😉

Despite it being a slower reading month, 17 books is still pretty amazing, Leslie! 😍 I hope that we can shake these slumpy vibes in March—I especially can’t wait for our buddy read with Julie, it’s gonna be so much fun! Also, Aloevera’s garden is SO cute! Love it! 💜

Between the World and Me was a great read. I always come back to it when I think that nonfiction isn’t my thing. The City of Dusk look soooo good. Glad you enjoyed that one. I hope March brings more brighter days than dark.

Your garden is so freaking cute, I love what you’ve done with the daisies! I ended up putting them all over the floor 😂

I don’t think I’ll ever hit 17 books in one month, so it’s a great one to me! 😉 This back and forth weather is about to drive me batty. Ready for constant sunshine! Happy reading in March. ❤

I know, this weather is nuts. It’s so depressing to have amazing weather and then it’s cold and snowing. My allergies and sinuses are a mess too. Hoping for it to even out here soon!! Haha, thank you! I hope you do too. ❤
