Spell the Month in Books: April!

I saw this over on One Book More and thought it would be a fun new monthly post! I have tagged her post so you can check it out too! It was originally created by Reviews from the Stacks, and the idea is to spell the month using the first letter of book titles.

I’m just going to add a tidbit from the synopsis and whether I’ve read it or want to. I’ll link the Goodreads link on the title if you want to check it out more!

A- A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee

“Perched in the Catskill mountains, the centuries-old, ivy-covered campus was home until the tragic death of her girlfriend. Now, after a year away, she’s returned to graduate. She even has her old room in Godwin House, the exclusive dormitory rumored to be haunted by the spirits of five Dalloway students—girls some say were witches. The Dalloway Five all died mysteriously, one after another, right on Godwin grounds.”

I still haven’t read this but hope to soon. I’ve seen mixed reviews but I own it.

P- Prince of Song & Sea by Linsey Miller

There’s no description yet but I saw that it’s Eric’s side of the story. I am ALL for this since The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney princess.

R-Rise of the World Eater by Jamie Littler

“In a last desperate move, Ash and the crew of the Frostheart journey to the yeti lands, where humans are forbidden, in search for the truth about the Devourer’s origins, and the one weakness that may prove its undoing…”

I am loving this series. This is the last one I have and I hope to get to it soon.

I- Ivory Key, The by Akshaya Raman

“Magic, a prized resource, is the only thing between peace and war. When magic runs out, four estranged royal siblings must find a new source before their country is swallowed by invading forces. The first in an Indian-inspired duology.”

I got this in my OC and I’m excited!

L- League of Gentlewomen Witches, The by India Holton

“Miss Charlotte Pettifer belongs to a secret league of women skilled in the subtle arts. That is to say—although it must never be said—witchcraft. The League of Gentlewomen Witches strives to improve the world in small ways. Using magic, they tidy, correct, and manipulate according to their notions of what is proper, entirely unlike those reprobates in the Wisteria Society.”

I really liked book one and I’m hoping to like this one too!
