This is a weekly meme hosted by, Taking on a World of Words. It’s where we talk about the Three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

Wow! I am exhausted!! We just got back from our trip yesterday and we squeezed so much in the 5 days we were gone. Disney was pretty much just as epic as I thought it would be. Mostly for my 3 year old but me too. It was so fun seeing him have the time of his life! He got to meet and take photos with Mickey and the pictures are the best. He was so happy and can’t stop telling people he met Mickey. He also went fishing for the first time! The first day- he just fished off my in-laws dock and caught two fish super quick. Then we went on the boat a couple days later and caught a shark! Well, it was little pole and my husband did most of the work. It was a smaller shark but still. He had the time of his life but he’s glad to be home. Me too! I didn’t get much reading done at all. We were so busy and vacation isn’t quite the same with a toddler. haha.

Dini and I are reading this one together. Just picked it up yesterday.

I’m picking this one up today to read during night time.

I finished this the day before vaca. I believe my buddies are still reading it. I didn’t have the best experience with this book, at all. It was a hot mess but not for many of the reasons a lot of people were angry. I’m between 2.5-3 stars.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

This was so cute!! Definitely has a great message too!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I have an arc and need to read this!! I’m really excited for it though.

I need to read this because I have an arc for the second book. I can’t wait to jump in!

What are you reading this week?? Leave your links below and I’ll check them out!!

Stay safe and healthy! Happy Reading!

  1. YAY! I’m so glad that you all had a good break and that Ollie had such a fun time meeting Mickey and fishing! A shark!! That’s wild 😂 I’ve missed talking to you too though so I’m glad you’re back home 💜 I can’t wait to keep reading Felix and I hope we both enjoy it more than TWOTQ. I think I’m giving it a 2, LOL! Also, I’m more than a little jelly that you have an ARC of This Vicious Grace! I’ve heard so many great things about it and I’m *very* excited to read it 😍

  2. The Jasmine Throne is such an incredible read! I hope you enjoy 😊 Also, vacation sounds like it was tons of fun! We took our kids to Disneyland a few years ago and my son reacted the same way. He got to meet Elsa and would talk about nothing else 😂 Glad y’all had a great time.

    • I am so excited for it! Yes, Vaca was so good… except that Ollie tested positive for COVID today. ughh. Oh, amazing!! Isn’t it so special though?! How they just believe in the magic? I totally loved experiencing that with him!! 🙂 His second favorite was Ariel because he wants to be a mermaid. 😀

    • I had never been but always wanted to. I’m kind of glad my first time was now with my son and watching the awe and magic through his eyes. Definitely, a top moment! Yes!! He was sooo excited!!! Although, all he talks about is meeting Mickey! haha

  4. My reading is a bit of a mess the last couple of weeks! But I am also currently reading two review books, listen to Project Hail Mary and just started with The Pink Suit. Just because I’ve always wanted to read it.

Happy reading and I hope you are having a good week so far.

  5. It sounds like you had an awesome vacation! Disney really is a magical place, and I hope to be able to go back soon. I can totally relate to your toddler’s excitement because I was obsessed with meeting Mickey my first time at Disney… and I was a grown man. lol. I was telling everyone about it and showing pictures for a long time after the trip. He was one of my favorite characters growing up and ‘meeting’ him for the first time was a surreal experience, even as a adult.
