Ahh, I have been spending a lot of time seeing family and friends lately. I’ve been filling in my other time watching Housewives. haha. It’s always my go-to when I’m really stressed out. I haven’t done much reading at all. I’m getting my Babel buddy read finished each week and call that a success! I am shocked at how busy Ollie’s preschool keeps us! We had a field trip last week, worked on a pumpkin for a contest, literacy night tonight, picture day tomorrow, and a fall party next week. It’s kind of crazy, haha.

I’ve only made it to 60% here. I need to get my reading mojo back so I can finally finish this one.
Buddy reading this with Dini and Destiny. I’m at 60%. We are waiting on each other and all have had things going on. It’s a slow read for us but that’s okay. —- We are at the same point here. lol
I finally managed to pick this up and I’m sitting at 20%
Buddy reading this with several lovely ladies!! It’s been so much fun. We are in the third part of the book and things are getting intense. ~63%
I’m on a blog tour for this and the only reason I haven’t picked it up yet is that it’s a PDF file. I hate that! I wouldn’t have signed up if I would have known that in advance. My ipad mini is too old to support anything to read it on. I’m stuck with my phone.

Everyone’s slumpy lately. Something bout the weather change, maybe, makes people not able to read? Who knows, but I hope we both break out of it soon.

I definitely think the weather has something to do with it. It’s been so gloomy and cold lately. I just want to not do anything. lol! We can do this!!

PDF files are rough! Is it NetGalley where you can’t send it to Kindle with “convert” in the subject? I think I’ve used Adobe Digital Editions for PDFs in the past.

I know, I really dislike PDF!! But why, for a blog tour?! Sigh. Yes, it’s through Netgalley. I typically used Adobe Digital Editions but the book wont even open on my Ipad mini- mind you it’s YEARS old. I didn’t even know if it would turn on! lol. I might try again on my husband’s ipad but it’s so huge. lol

I would maybe contact the tour host and ask if they can send you an epub or something. Or ask to not be in the tour. It sounds like a huge inconvenience.

Oh, I hate having to read on my phone. Hope that you manage it. I’m going to pick up Babel from the library this weekend so should start that one soon.

Same!! I’m going to struggle for sure. Oh, I’m almost through Babel. It’s a very educational read about language, keep that in mind! It’s been good so far though.

Omg, Bravo shows are literally getting me through life right now, lol.
I haven’t read anything recently, but my next book read is going to be the last book in The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

Bravo shows are the first thing I go to watch now when I watch TV, lol. So addicting, I completely agree! Current Bravo favorites are The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Southern Charm, and Below Deck Med!
Yes, so far I am loving this book series. Finished the second book about a month ago, I think. Hoping to start the last book soon! Glad to hear the show is good! Can’t wait to watch it after reading the series!

Love Beverly Hills. I am all caught up on that and Orange County and started New York since they are bringing it back but with new cast.

Ooh, also love OC as well! In case you hadn’t heard Tamara is coming back and also Taylor from Beverly Hills is joining the cast! Can not wait for the new season! I heard that about New York, does that mean no one from the previous cast is going to be on the new season?

I did hear about Tamara!! I did see that Vicky might make some cameo appearances?! I’m not sure how much of that is just speculation though! From what they revealed, no one from the original will be back, which is kinda crazy.

I 100% feel you on the slow-going reads and not really being able to finish anything. My mood has been a little funky and I think my brain is just totally exhausted so it’s been hard for me to focus on anything but romance? Except for Babel though cos that book is just blowing my mind! 🤯 And WOW, preschool life is really busy! 😂 Literacy night sounds like fun though? I hope you had a good time, friend! Get all the you-time you can 💜

I think the new job probably has a lot to do with that. Once it all starts to settle down, I think you’ll get your mojo back! Yeah, literacy night was soo busy but basically just a book fair! Ollie got to do some crafts and buy some books. It was a great time. 🙂

Ugh! I used to get so annoyed when I’d get pdfs. LOL! I don’t use NetGalley anymore, but that used to really frustrate me.
