I figured that it was time to do this. I’ve got this in ORDER. What?! I decided to make this harder on myself. haha These are all books that I could not stop thinking about this year.
1.
Yes, my friends… coming in at the TOP spot is this gem. Wow, was my soul crushed with this one. It was one of the best sequels I’ve ever read and I cannot wait for the next installment!
2.
This was such a fantastic read and so was book two! I buddy-read these with Dini and Julie and we all loved them. I can’t wait for the next one!!
3.
I can’t stress how important this book is. I listened to the audio in January and this book has not left me. By the way, I highly recommend listening to this one!
4.
This list would not be complete without Backman! This book is a chunk but it’s worth it. A very well-done ending to a fabulous series.
5.
This was a surprise and a great one at that. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a fantasy with great characters, and a swoon-worthy romance!
Honorable Mentions
I had a lot of 5-star reads this year and not all of them made the list. It was soo hard to choose!

Okay, now you’ve really got me wanting to pick up One Dark Window ASAP! I also need to read that Gwynne series and I guess it’s still of me to think I need to wait to finish the series of his that we’re already reading before picking that one up, right? 😂 Awesome list, Leslie! I can’t believe you managed to get it down to 5—you’re amazing!

Haha, yes!! Highly recommend ODW! I totally think we should finish the one we are reading before starting the next. Although, I started with the Bloodsworn saga and it’s epic. haha. I know, it was really hard but proud that I did it! haha
