Well, I managed to get zero blogging done the last week. I had every plan but things have just not gone my way. I am getting close to my halfway mark in this pregnancy. I have A LOT of PTSD happening right now. The closer I get to that 20-week scan. It was that time that all went terribly wrong with my 1st pregnancy so I’m starting to return to that place. With that being said, I’m just trying to get through the days. Tomorrow is my next cervix scan and if all goes well then I’ll have a lot of relief and can hopefully catch up this weekend!

Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson

I have made some progress. I’m to 12% now. I haven’t been in the head space for this one. It’s in a time-out. haha

A Dangerous Collaboration by Deanna Raybourn

I just started this one yesterday but I’m only at about 50 pages. Had some doc appts. and stuff get in the way today.

It’s about time! haha. I have all these chunky books lined up but I want to read this and then jump into book three when it gets here!! STILL have the same plan after I finish the Speedwell books.

    • They are seriously so fun! I just warn you- you are in for the slowest, most- slow burn romance ever! haha. It’s worth it though. Maybe why I keep picking up the next and next.

  2. I’m finally reading Chain of Iron right now. It’s so unnecessarily chonky. The first third could have been edited down significantly, but it does have some great character moments. I hope you like it when you get to it, and I’ll be sending positive vibes your way regarding the doctor’s appointment.

    • Thank you so much. I appreciate that. 🙂 Ugh, that’s what I’m worried about. They are SO chunky and they don’t need to be! Regardless, I am going to try and push through. I hope that it pays off and you love it by the end! I really want to get to it before the end of the month but I’ve had a few arcs come in that are due in two weeks.

  6. Sending lots of good wishes to you for everytbing to go well. I know what it’s like for things to go wrong in pregnancy but hopefully everything will be well this time. I definitely need to investigate the Veronica Speedwell series after loving Killers of a Certain Age by the same author.

    • Thank you!! It went very well and now I just relax until the next one! Pregnancy is so stressful, which it sounds like you understand it not going to plan! Yes!!! Veronica Speedwell has been so fun! I can’t wait to completely catch up in the next week or two!
