Hello all! It’s been a really crazy week and it’s only the middle. haha. I am so ready for warmer weather. The cold is still holding on and it’s getting so frustrating! lol

I made some progress!! Not a ton but now I’m at 16% haha. <— haven’t moved here.
Foul Lady Fortune by Chloe Gong
I am currently doing two buddy read but somehow got super ahead. I finally started this one! I’m not very far into it since I just started yesterday afternoon.
Hello Stranger by Katherine Center
I am buddy reading this with Julie and I’m loving it!! At about 35%!
A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske
I am buddy reading this with Dini. We had a bit of a struggle in the beginning but I think we have to get used to the writing style. I’m about 55%.
The Bone Shard War by Andrea Stewart
I am buddy reading this with Julie. We loved this! A brilliant ending to the series!!
Mortal Follies by Alexis Hall
I got about 20% into this and had to DNF. It was not for me, at all.
Monstress vol. 8 by Marjorie M. Liu
I want to focus on reading more of my Brandon Sanderson and I’ll throw in this Graphic Novel that I haven’t read yet!!

Books Are The New Black 
I’m currently doing a buddy read of Hello Stranger (though I got lazy and didn’t add it to my WWW post 🫢). I really like it. Face blindness fascinates me and I think Center does an excellent job explaining it. Enjoy your reading week!

I just finished it! It was so good. I totally agree- she did such an amazing job handling the topic. I think that’s what I’ve learned to love about Center. She takes something like this and teaches me something new!

I’m about half way though the Bone Shard War and really enjoying is so far although I can’t even begin to imagine how it’s all going to end.

I’ve always been curious about reading Foul Lady Fortune but I’m still on the fence about it, don’t really know why lol. I hope you love it tho! Best of luck with your reading! x

Haha, I have not picked it up since then because I’ve been super sick! But, I’ve seen great reviews for it. I’m not far enough in yet. 🙂

I loved Foul Lady Fortune. I hope you do too! I’m sad to see the new Alexis Hall wasn’t a fit for you. I’m usually a fan, but I wasn’t really gripped by the synopsis for that one. I’m glad I didn’t request it. I’m going to start The Bone Shard War very soon, and I cannot wait to see how it wraps up. I hope you enjoy all of your reading this week. 🙂

Thank you, Chris!! Yeah, I’ve heard so many good things. I haven’t picked it back up because I got a nasty cold on Wednesday night! Started with my kiddo and he shared. I haven’t done much reading but hope to pick it back up today! Yeah, it was my first Alexis Hall, actually! So, a bit bummed by the DNF. Oh, I hope you enjoy it! It was such a great series ending book!!

I know, it was a mess. Super bummed that it’s going to be a hindrance on my Netgalley score. They should just wipe it away, instead of keeping it on there as not read.

Yep! The TV adaptation is going to be on Apple TV and the show starts on April 14th! I can not wait for the show!
